Ep. 85: Podcasting through the Holiday Season - Our Media Host went DOWN!

Happy December 2022! The Holiday Season is here upon us. As we gear up for the Christmas Season a lot of Podcasts will be taking time off for the Holidays. That is totally okay to take breaks from podcasting. But consider that people do enjoy listening to podcasts all year long. They might be forced to take a break from their favorite shows because they decided to take time off this time of year. Which opens up the chance they might discover you podcast. So if possible dont stop podcasting this time of year. Make your show a Holiday Theme like we are doing on The Kris and Kristine Show. All December long we are making Christmas Themed Content.



On The Kris and Kristine Show this week, our Podcast Media Host went down. They had server problems and our show wouldn't play anywhere. Which can put a lot of stress when you are trying to promote your podcast. So what do you do when that happens? You should double check that you are connected to the internet. Try different devices and see if it plays. If still not working, then Google check if the company is having an outage. You could file a complaint or wait and see if it comes back up like I did. Luckily it was only down for a few hours. But if it was longer... I would consider switching media hosts.
